- We offer various Skippers License courses from Inland Skippers to Coastal Skippers.
- Further your Skippers journey by attaining your SRC – Short Range Radio Course – VHF.
- Effective from 1 January 2016 Category B, C, D Vessels must be equipped with a VHF radio and the operator must hold a SRC Operators certificate.
Coastal Skipper
Obtain your certificate of competence for small power-driven vessels from the South African Maritime Safety Authority (SAMSA).
Inland Skippers
Obtain your skippers certificate of competence for Inland waters for small power driven vessels. Category R skippers qualify to operate their vessels on inland waters, dams, rivers, estuaries and harbours. h conditions
Advanced Skippers
This course is specifically designed for those skipppers who are not yet confident about launching their own boat or at a new site or who need to brush up on their skills.
VHF Operators
Radio operators on the Short range course (SRC), for the VHF Operators Certificate are taught the proper use of a VHF radio and the correct procedures to follow.
